pep club Renne Rabbon was Independ- ence's first mascot. She wore her 76'er uniform to the games. During the first rally she performed in front of all the I.H.S. students. Another iob she has was heading the Pep Club. Renne also helped raise money for the wrestlers with the Minute-Mates. Renne did a great iob as our first year mascot. GO GET EM SIXERS!!! Jlkgf They got together and picked outa uniform. Learning cheers, painting posters, and supporting our teams was there :lil goal. They excited many sixer fans into taking the rooter bus. Their spirit aided the cheerleaders. The Pep Club was lead by advisor Ms. Miyahara and President Renne Rabbon, our mascot. 89

This year Independence had an Aeronautics club. Mr. Gadina played advisor to the club. The club sold things for Christmas. And they also used the school's helicopter.
