in ia california scholarship federation fall semester The California Scholarship Federation Of Independence is an honor club for the solo purpose for students with 3 A's and 2 B's. They met every Monday after school. Their Officers are President .lerry Moulton, Vice President Terry Yamamoto, Secretary Balet Sit, Treasurer Linda Norris, and Historian Betty Young. California Scholarship Federatioh members received special privileges. They are proud of all the students whom have met their requirements. More students are however, advised to try to make the grades for next time. They planned many trips and also help their members receive state scholarships. To be a life member one must be in C.S.F. four semesters and one during senior year. Also, to be a IOOOA member one must be in it every semester of their high school life.

This year Independence had an Aeronautics club. Mr. Gadina played advisor to the club. The club sold things for Christmas. And they also used the school's helicopter.
