Inchon's MARC 1-92 deployment was CAPT Chaplin's first as Com- mand' Off' ' ' ' ' ing icer. Sixth Fleet categorized his command as one of the finest they had seen among the ships that travel to the Mediterranean Sea. lnchon was awarded the Battle E for excellence among LPl-l's under CAPT Chaplin, and received a two- ear certification Y based on results from the Operational Propulsion Plant Examination.
