EARCH NATURE'S SECRETS It takes very little effort to stimulate interest in things re- lating to science. The IXVA Science Club, under the sponsor- ship of Sister Reparata aims to give the members an abiding interest in the study of science. This club prides itself on the fact that all its meetings are exciting and mentally profitable. Among the projects sponsored by the Science Club is the annual rake party, at which leaves are raked together, burned, . . . marshmallows are toasted . . . stars are studied . . . plans are made to keep up the tradition of a rake party. Science projects are prepared by several members of the Science Club, and these projects are entered in several science fairs. It has become a thing to be expected that these projects are rated high among those entered. PETE THE PET of the Science Club obliges Sister Repariti by posing for his very first photograph. GETTING READY FOR THE SCIENCE FAIR are Maureen Cleary, Jackie DuMont, and Pat Steinlage. These and other mem- bers of the Science Club prepared various projects for various sci- ence fairs. Sister Reparata was al- ways on hand to help anyone who needed help. bl
