These are the days when our vocabulary has been enriched with many new words like Satel- lites, missiles, outer space, orbit . . . to name only a few. We are told that in the next decade the wonders of space achievement will be stupendous, and we are warned that a knowledge of science will be necessary to live intelligently in the future. Here at IWA we are offered courses in biology and chemistry. Both these courses are popular with the students. Sister Reparata and Mr. Charles Paulson are the teachers in this department. CAREFUL MEASUREMENTS are very necessary in science study. Sandy Feld is absorbed in her chemistry work. OUR FEATHERED FRIENDS . . . these para- keets are the delight of the biology class. Their care- takers are Sue Stueber and Betty Stocke. II3
