pan Dedica tion WE DEDICATE THIS YEARBOOK TO THE SISTERS OF CHARITY OF THE INCARNATE WORD IN GRATITUDE FOR THE YEARS OF SERVICE IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUTH AT INCARNATE WORD ACADEMY 1932-1933 19511958 A world lost in a realm of time Found a spark of hope sublime. In France in IS66, there occurred The founding of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Through the zeal of Bishop Dubuis, the Order had its birth. ln Galveston, Texas it first displayed its worth. From there the Sisters turned their efforts to San Antoneg Through their schools and hospital God became known. St. Louis became in their lives a vital part I And in l932 they there gave lncarnate Word Academy its start. Through the years they portray that symbol of faith and hope and truth Leaving a lasting imprint of God on the heart of youth.

Some- times I think that to be a woman and to serve and suffer as women do is to be the highest thing. Perhaps that is why I felt it proud and wondrous to be a teacher, for a teacher does that.
