The Junior Class The junior class has worked wonders with the aid of its officers: Margie Schmidt-President, Bridget Lawler-Vice-President, Kay Coughlin-Secretary, Jeanette McCanng and its monitor, Sister Josephine, in promoting a unity and friendship among its classmates and that of the rest of the student body. They worked hand in hand to start off the year with a big bang in planning the Junior Silver Tea, which was held at Eileen O'Keeffe's home on October 20. The tea was a huge suc- cess as the girls showed off their pretty sheaths and full dresses to one another, as everyone crowded into the house to get refreshments. As soon as the tea was con- cluded, the juniors began planning the Junior-Senior Prom which was held at Mercy on January 24. Everyone's dream was fulfilled as they danced to the beautiful music which all came to an end too quickly. Another unforgettable event was the Father- Daughter Banquet, to which we were escorted by such handsome dates as our own fathers. Then came the Junior-Senior Banquet, bidding a final farewell to the marve- lous seniors in whose footsteps we will tread. It was a wonderful occasion at which we had a super-special time. And let us not forget Field Day when we ate, drank, and laughed to our heart's content. This year has been one of unforgettable experi- ences full of the pleasant memories of years to come.
