MUSIC . . . Choral - Instrumental Ample opportunities for instruction in various forms of music are provided for I.W.A. students. Sister Joan and Sister Iinmaculada give lessons in piano technique. Mr. N. Saccomani teaches voice and choral singing, D. W. McCready gives group lessons to the girls who are in the Bishop's Band. Mr. Dwight McCready and the Bishops Band. IM A are in this group.

-5.1! Jay 'Ioday the homemaker is in the public spotlight. Well-equipped, modern homemaking fauli ties provide a laboratory for practice in the arts of the homemaker of tomorrow. Each student learns to sew various articles of clothing. Many of these items are displayed in the showroom on the second floor. Frequently, tests are of the practical sort, wherein a student completes an assigned garment in a certain period. Cooking classes demonstrate their acquired knowledge by serving various types of meals. dinners, party refreshments, and similar things. The test is in the tasting.

SPORTS . . . Volleyball - Basketball - Softball The more active of the students find an interest in sports, consisting principally of volleyball, basketball, and softball teams, using the name of ACADEMY ANGELS. Friendly competition with girls from other Catholic schools in the Gulf Coast area offer opportunities for the development of skills and sportsmanship, and the creation of new friendships with other students of similar ideals and background. 1'
