Biology - Chemistry - General Science A study of the natural phenomena of one's environment will instill a deeper appreciation of the laws governing the creation and sustaining the universe and its creatures. Here the student is brought to realize that the so-called conflict between science and religion does not existg only a Master Plan can explain the mysteries of His creation. Science classes are taught by Sister Jeanne Francis. .3 Chemistry students emphasize laboratory practice. Biology classes use modern equipment and techniques to study living things.

SOCIAL SCIENCES . . . Amercan History - World History - Government A study of past events can assist in providing understandings about both the present and the future, while a study of government will mold good citizens. A study of current events is watching history being made in these portentous days. Sister Mary Stanislaus teaches government and world history, with Mrs. Sheridan also teaching classes in the latter subject. Sister Xavier and Sister Genevieve teach American history. Sister Genevieve listened as Theresa Bledsoe explained a passage of the American history book. , .,f ,ft E' Sister Stanislaus received an answer to il question she asked in world history.
