Students board- ing buses in the early mornings was a common scene during Jan- uary. The Trav- eling Choir'l took their annual trip to San Antonio for the Catholic Choral Festival at Incarnate Word College. Father Bernard J. Clancy, O.M.I., one of the most unusual of God's messengers, was the retreatmaster of the annual re- treat at I.W.A. Holding the rapt attention of the 300 girls with his jokes and dry wit, he put over the four-day re- treat in which he dominated the souls of all his listeners. Here he offered the Divine Sacrifice of the Mass to be- gin the retreat which is con- ducted every year. S9 Members of the Aurora and the Crown staffs journeyed via bus to Incarnate Word College in San Antonio for the first Texas Catholic Journal- ists' Workshop on January 11.
