A O I O OCI AL SCIE CE American History, American Government, World History Sister Stanislaus received an answer to Z1 question she asked in world history. Social science subjects at I.W.A. include American history, world history. and American government. The two his- tories seek to acquaint students with events of the past and to give them a better understanding of the events. The study of government seeks to give them a better knowledge of their government and in this way trains them to be better citizens. Current events are included in each of these subjects. Sister Mary Stanislaus teaches Ameri- can government and world history. Sister Mary Aquinas teaches American history. Sister Aquinas looked on as Carol Neckar pointed out to the class a place in the map that was involved in the current events of the week. 1 -H i lll t' 2
