Physical Fitness tests. These tests, given to both boys and girls, lasted until June 28. The tests are designed to show the athletic ability and co-ordina- tion of each individual. The seven events in the test are the softball throw, the shuttle run, the 600- yard run, the 50-yard dash, pull ups, sit ups, and the standing broad jump. The results of these tests will then be compared with the national scale of physical fitness. This will show how the children of the Church compare in athletic ability with the rest of the nation. The AAHPER tests will be given again at the end of the summer af- ter a strenuous program of daily exercise. The results of the lat- ter tests should show a much better rating on the national scale.
