In the depth of our gratitude and appreciation, wc enclose the fondest memory of Rev. lllothcr Mary Annette whose name stands for the self-dedicating goodness, the generous happiness, and the unbounded enthusiasm we have recognized and admired as the dominant qualities of her person- ality. Everywhere she appeared, ev- erytime she spoke, we felt she breathed into our youthful souls her own spirit of Franciscan ideal- ism to which we wish to aspire encouraged by her every word and strengthened by her concern for our spiritual and temporal well-being. Inadequate as are all earthly tributes, we wish to leave, never- theless, some token whereby we might acknowledge our indebted- ness ancl cxpress our thankfulness for the gifts of a heart and a hand extended to us when we needed them both the most. May this humble effort etched in our an- nual be such a token wrapped in prayer and sealed with loving remembrance. She 'walks your 'way of peace, Saint Franeisg Your kindness marks each little deed, She speaks your words fy' healing comfort, And tends with love to all our need. 6 We ask your blessing, dearest Francis' Un all her works and constant cares And on this tribute of a yearbook To hold our thought and grateful pray rs 'KJ A grateful student body joined the ranks of benefactors to help Rev. Mother Mary Annette materialize her plans for a much-needed infir- rnary building now in the process of construction. Discussing student proposals for various fund-raising projects of their own, Patricia Waligora Cseatedj, Anne We- solowska, and Janice Tryjan- kowska secure the approvals of the Principal, Sister Mary Josephine Cstandingj and Rev. Mother Mary Annette Cseatedl. They rep- resent the Vilrnarians in their ex- of sincere wishes for the success of so worthy an undertak- ing and their pledge of continued cooperation to make the iniirmary a Felician dream-come-true. pression I1?
