Ee Lcalfion N...--ul Chaplain -- The twenty-fifth anniversary of the priest- hood of our esteemed chaplain, the Rev. Anthony Krawczyk, lends a festive note to our final year at the academy and provides a welcome opportunity to vent in jubilee's song our profound gratitude and earnest felicita- tions to this devoted guardian of our ideals. Throughout our student days, we watched with holy admiration the candle of his min- istry glow ever brighter with the large and steady flame of self-dedication. Resplendent with the love of Christ and Mary, its benef- icent rays reached the heart of every Vilmar- ian to sustain its faith, rekindle in it the spark of God's love, to awaken new hope, arouse fresh fervor, and implant stronger ideals. One by one he lit the little candles of our own lives readier, because of his inspiration, to meet the challenge of a militant Christian- ity of our age. Aware of the magnitude of our obligation, we enclose our tribute of thanks in the modest pages of the Immacula- tmz which we gratefully dedicate to our spiritual counsellor and instructor, and our honored jubilarian. Reverend Anthony Krawczyk of Villa Maria Convent and Academy I nrtrurtor in Religion

fdljgguelfd Great Ideals To Hi: Excellency, the Mor! Rev. jorepb Aloyfim Burke, D.D., we extend this token of deep respect and acknowledgement. As spiritual leader of this diocese, he has dis- tinguished himself in his unabated zeal urg- ing us always to aspire with a holy dis- content to a fuller realization, in every field of work and endeavor, of the highest Cath- olic ideal-a life that is Christ-centered in motive and action. This ideal we promise to make our own, that it may become the guid- ing principle and the activating force in our crusade for Christ. Leaders To Hif Excellency, Ibe Mor! Rev. Leo Richard Smith, D.D., Auxiliary Bishop of the diocese, we zealously pledge our coopera- tion in upholding the ideals of Christ-like goodness and gentleness which he so ardently seeks to accentuate in the pattern for personal holiness. In our own lives and in the lives of those around us, we will strive to enthrone the spirit of true charity which is the soul of every Christian ideal.

SOLEMN SIGNIFICANCE attends Ring Day cere- monies which, very appropriately, began with the Mass followed by the presentation of class rings to the seniors. The awesome moment is focused on joan Lewandowska as Father Krawczyk places on her Finger the insignia of her school. Standing in the front row, Barbara Adamczalc, Theresa Kobos, Elizabeth . h . Bracikowska, and Barbara Barczykowslca await t err turn with bated breath. FIRST THINGS COME FIRST in a Catholic Curricu- lum which provides for religious instructions to make possible the education of the whole man. In a senior class, Dorothy Resetarits fstandingj, Kath- leen Macey, Esther Kuwik, Rose Kendra, and Mary Ann Osika, listen attentively as Father Krawczyk expounds a truth that governs our relations with God in our everyday living.
