Although Immaculate's two-year-old baseball team may never he pitted against the Yankees, it certainly dis- plays the necessary form and spirit essential to every suc- cessful hasehall team. On the diamond, the hoys work in a smooth unit exemplifying co-operation at its hest. The team is far from inexperienced in America's national pas- time. Almost all of the hoys have participated in either Little League, American Legion, or C.'Y.O.-sponsored teams. The watchful eyes of Coach Ioe Carvey not only saxv that the hoys were in top condition physically, hut also that their morale was never at a loxv ehh. Such a coinhination of elements can only result in a highly skilled team. Clf'IfSS XVIIICTII Pl..-U'IfR U'.A'lS Tlllf I..-KST TO :UiltIY1'f. The funn irirlmlm: FIRST HUYV: ll Byrne. 1. Kloss.
