ff 4 X TP nf X Z 77 was a festnve month Snow and Chnstmas spmt filled nts days from begmmng to end The halls of Immaculate rang wnth Chrust mas Chopstscks and Jmgle Bells as the Glee Club prepared tor the second annual concert which was held on December I8th The concert was a wonderful one brmgrng out the true meamng of Chrrstmas In song and an pageant as the Honor Socuety de All the glee clubs were under the durectvon of Mnss Margaret Mary Canty whose own enthusnasm about everythung helped us to acqunre It too Mass Canty s demonstra tions of how not to sung were always welcomed wnth hearty laughter The Gnrls Glee Club headed by Cathy Neary and the Boys Glee Club small but powerful held theur own very beautifully and when nn a few numbers they were combined the sound of their volces carrued far out unto the stillness of the nnqht In the vrgor shown by the Boys Glee Club and In their earnestness In trying to better the gurls we saw again a new Interest growing more successful as the varnous sports have become more success ful and the boys In Immaculate taknng a renewed stand tor their rnghts provnng that IC H S Isnt by any means a gurls school The best choral group accordnng to the members of the Schola was the Schola The beautntully blended vonces ID three part harmony were kept busy durmg December as they dad their share In the concert and brought 'oy to the suck In hospitals The gurls In Schola gave up many hours after school on Wednesday as they prepared theur parts and their eftorts were not an vain The Christmas dance sponsored thus year by the Clarrron took place on December l9th Its thenre was Christmas Around the World and the gym became a mlnrature globe deplctmg Chrustmas rn varnous lands Of course cleverness was second nature to the members of the stat? ot the Clarrron our school newspaper Under the patient gund ance of Sister Mary Immaculate and Marrlyn Fungerhut edutor In chnef the paper told the news and events around Immaculate as well as If not better than any professional paper We sensors will always remember the Who s Wno column and of course next year wrll look forward to the alumna sectnon Chnstmas holidays were as gay as ever and as the last of December dawned brnght and clear we faced the new year wnth happy hearts Snow and Christmas sprrrt fllled :ts days George Tyson and Richie Buoye have some snow fun. cf ,V 7 ff, ff ,Zvi y, at , I 'J 7 f 4' +1 .
