FUHEWUHD 'A' As a continuation of the glorious history of the Immaculate Concep- tion High School, we, the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Forty-five, present this volume of the Immac- ulata. For the past four years at Im- maculate we have striven to deepen and enrich the traditions, to cherish the ideals that we came to know and love. It is our intention that 0ur I nge Four Immaculata will keep ever before us the vigor and the inspiration of these traditions and ideals of Alma Mater. To the members of the faculty who have taught and encouraged us, we are deeply grateful, and as we leave the Immaculate Conception High School, confidently we go forth determined to exemplify in our lives the principles we have made our own.

Page Six mf bzwbn O Through our founder, Bight Reverend Monsignor Edward M. Farrell, these achieve- ments of ours have been realized inspira- tionally as well as dependently. At once a brilliant scholar, sincere friend, and gra- cious priest, unselfishly he labored and sacrificed to develop the religious, scholastic, cultural, social, and physical faculties of Catholic Youth. Immaculate Conception Iligh School was lovingly planned and carefully brought into existence by his tireless efforts. It stands as a shining beacon pointing as he had planned it to point: to the splendors of Catholic Education, to the glory of God. In the hearts of thousands of students his accomplishments have achieved a glorious immortality of revcrential admiration, un- dying gratitude, and unqualified devotion. As an expression of our profound esteem for this remarkable priest of God, we, the Class of 1945, gratefully dedicate this Immac- ulata to our great founder, Bt. Rev. Msgr. Edward M. Farrell.
