Assemblies Bob Severs from radio station WOWO Fort Wayne showed slides from his trip around the world to IC students at a monthly as- sembly. Demonstrating various chemicals and their reactions when mixed is Doctor Hawbecker from Ohio Northern University who was sent by the Visiting Science Program Organization. At a special assembly by the NHS in his honor Ralph Kloster- man receives a plaque for his many years of service to IC from Mr. Rieman, and a huge box with a golden broom. Giving their interpretation of what Santa Claus is really like are the Chorus students of IC. Gently rocking the Christ-Child to sleep while the Latin and Spanish classes sing a soft lullaby are: Jo Ann Klein- henz, Shirley Fleck, and Margie Mahle. Ready to hand out Christmas gifts are; Jane Sommers, Santa (Pat Hemmelgarn), Sharon Bertke, and June Scott. The teachers were happy to receive their gifts from the IC students. After distributing the gifts at the Christmas assembly, Santa Claus (Pat Hemmelgarn) walks out proudly as admirers Roger Klos- terman, Dan Hawk and Bill Bruggeman watch. 33

Assemblies Captivated by Sister Cor- delia's art display in the auditorium after her talk on modern art are: Mr. DaPrato, Sister Joyce, and Carol Stukenborg. Posing for a picture is Fr. Robert Hunt, C.PP.S. who came to IC Parish to give a thought- provoking, one-week retreat in the evenings to the high school stu- dents.
