NEWSPAPERS, ONE OF THE vAsT methods of communication, have the opportunity of informing their many readers with a constant variety of stories. With this opportunity goes a duty, dictating that all news be presented in light of the singular ideal of truth. Here at lmmaculata, this ideal is real- ized through the campus newspaper, the lmmaculatan. On any Monday afternoon at 3:30, the Marian Hall Staff Room functions as a center of busy activity, where the forthcoming issue serves as the primary topic of discussion. The main unit is sometimes divided in order that individual groups may accomplish their particular iobs, the combination of which, makes up the one finished product. Collecting, reporting, writing, and editing . . . each class participates in giving the best coverage to over seven hundred subscribers. .lust a little over? Just a little under?
