Finding all the news that is flt to print falls to Barbara Carnathan and . . . . . and speech a spark to move our heart. CWis. 2 :2j. Here on campus an issue of such sparks emits monthly from a basement room in Marian llall known as the Immaculartan staff office. Co- cditors, Katherine Schafer and Barbara Carnathan, join forces in choosing their fuel from a forest of the school's current news and views. Their work is facilitated by a team of industrious feature writers and reportersg circulation, art, and assist- ant editorial boards, who realize that a staff must face the friction of space restrictions and deadlines to produce the flame which has wen All-Catholic honors for eighteen years. The Immaculatan grows each year in its influence upon the minds and hearts of the student body. The topsy-turvy world of iournallsm Is straightened out, momentarily, ln a hen session arlslng at a weekly stat? meeting.

Delivery girls, Lillian Fedick, Margaret Mary Ochsenfeld, and Alice Tacelosky, make sure that every student receives her edition ot the news.
