Mother Maria Alma, Mother General of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary receives Pontiflcal decree from the Most Reverend John J. 0'Hara, Mother General has been the inspiration further- ing the extensive building program toward a Greater lmmaeulataf' Under her capable super- vision, the architects' designs for Gillet Hall, Mar- ian Hall, and Good Counsel Hall rose grandly into beautiful realities. Mother has also been instrumental in leading her community toward the achievement of a long- Archbishop of Philadelphia cherished hope. Here she is seen receiving from the Most Reverend Arelibislnop the official deeree from the Sacred Congregation of Religious in Home giving her community Pontilieal status. Assisting the Archbishop is the Reverend Joseph A. Quigley, .l.C.D., of the faculty of St. Charles Seminary, Overbrook.
