Service Clubs Aid School Six Monitors take time out from posts to pose. Red Cross members cut instrument wrappings for hospital. Monitors practice filling-out those little yellow slips. lmmaculata's Student Directors have the task of directing traffic in the halls and see- ing that silence is maintained at all times. They also carry bright yellow violation tickets which they give to any student who forgets herself and violates ci rule of conduct. The Red Cross Club is dedicated to help- ing the needy and unfortunate. The Immacu- lata chapter has sent cards to hospitalized persons, food and clothing to migrant camps, and has made surgical wrappings for Mercy Hospital. The girls also filled Thanksgiving baskets and made toys for children at Christ- mas. 31

The Student Council of La Salle sponsored a pep rally, held in the cafetorium, to open their first foot- ball season against Florida Air Academy. La Salle also participated in the Operation Amigo program. Honor cards were presented to students with an average of 93 or more, and a free period was awarded to each.
