Members of the staff prove adept at gathering and reporting news, sporting events, controversies of the day, and interesting sidelights. A new policy pertaining to student contribution led to the introduction of a supplement for poetry and art. For the first time the school won a charter in the national Quill and Scroll, admitting nine candidates. Sister Mau- reen Thomas, I.H.M., and the staffers continually experiment with new tech- niques, producing six publications rather than the usual four.
