Golf Distinguishing themselves by attaining the first winning record in the school's history, the Immaculata Golf team set out this spring envisioning the dream of a state championship. Under Coach Jo- seph Poplowski, the linksmen scored some impressive victories over such pow- ers as Bridgewater-West and Somerville in 1969, and were invited to the New Jer- sey State Golf Tournament. This year the squad is bolstered by the return of letter winners John Kelly, James Mangini, and Michael Tarentino and all systems are go! Coach Poplowski finds himself in the embarrassing po- sition of asking Michael Tarentino for a lift to the Green Knoll Clubhouse. Formation is essential as shown by Varsity Cheerleaders, Margaret Moffitt, Patricia Pensak, Gale Sopher, Linda Horner, Sharry Trojanowski, Sharon Pan- zera, Jane Davis, and Elizabeth Robinson, who strive for perfection before the Delbarton game.
