Perseverance and talent rewarded the seamstresses as they walked down the runway clad in their own creative styles. Mrs. Margaret Christensen, guiding the home economics students in individ- ual projects, witnessed the materializa- tion of culottes, dresses, coats, and eve- ning gowns. From uSwinging Londonj' a la Little Theatre, a mod theme pro- vided a vast range of styles as the girls donned the latest ensembles.

College Night Many hours of planning and organiza- tion by Mr. Robert Pietrucha, Mr. Philip Chalupa, and Sister Marie Philip, I.H.M., proved well-spent on October ll, 1968. Among the twenty-nine col- leges attending, the Drake School of Business, St. Francis School of Nursing, Fordham University, and Stevens Insti- tute of Technology represented four in- stitutions of higher education. A welcome address given by Monsi- gnor Eugene B. Kelly began the four, twenty minute sessions during which sen- iors could become acquainted with the college of their choice. Underclassmen learned the procedure of application and the necessary scholastic requirements. Eileen Gibney questioned a representative from St. Francis Nursing School on the admission requisites. Interested parents and students which were on display in the cafeteria. Home Economics Club Under the supervision of Mrs. Margaret Christensen, the seniors and juniors of the Home Economics Club created new ideas in dressmaking by giving clothes that Hiinishing touchfl Florence Rafferty and Deborah Gibus, selected to the Cre- ative Fabric Council, related fashion tips to the club and participated in style shows at Fabric Land.
