Student Council Members Ralph Pascale, Valerie Santelli, Chester DeStefano, and Gerald Dallessio anticipated guiding interested parents at Open House. Upperclassmen at last! Starting the school year enriched with the experience and wisdom of two years at Immaculata, the juniors echoed the sentiment of this statement. Many new and exciting worlds opened before them, complicated chemis- try formulas became familiar, algebra II and trigonometry problems tested their perseverance, and the discussions in Reli- gion II gave them insight into Vatican Il. Junior year, one of grueling tests, pre- pared the students for College Boards by the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Tests. As senior year drew near, the juniors gave serious thought to their vocations in life. It was a year of reflection. Each stu- dent matured as he reached for his goal, fell back, and reached once more. Seeking help and guidance, they had merely to be shown the opportunities awaiting them. As true Immaculatans the Class of '70 were prepared to meet the challenge. Associative Representatives Mark Kolb, Barbara Stafford, Kathleen Rork, Andrea Alicino, and John Huddleston discussed ways to increase school participation in Student Council effort. 153
