Standing: Coach Philip Chalupa, Richard Meene, David Mastro, John Huddleston. Organized in 1967 by Coach Philip Chalupa, the Physical Fitness Team again aimed to produce strength and coordina- tion in its members. With a Marine Physi- cal Fitness Award as the goal, calisthen- ics, weight-lifting, and wrestling aided the boys in acquiring the stamina needed for this exacting test. Encouraged by the feats of last year's team, who ranked first place in the Parochial School Division and sixth place in New Jersey, the squad worked earnestly through March and April to outdo the previous Immaculata record.
