Having attained a record of live wins -two losses was certainly a great accomplishment and a sign of things to come for the Varsity. These boys, the best-trained group of players ever on the Spartan line-up, possessed a drive and a will to win, which earned them the 7 record they attained. The coaches hope that this season gives an indication of the 1969 Varsity Team and that the results will be as gratifying. ,, Timmy Murphy snared a toss from Mike Lis- covitz to gain the needed yardage for a first down.
