For most of the girls, freshman year marks the beginning of a life-long career in the Sodality of Our Lady. After passing a probation period during which they are required to learn the primary purposes of the Sodality-personal sanctifica- tion, the sanctification of their neighbor, and the spread and defense of their faith -they are formally received into the organization as close as possible to the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
