Once again, radical colonists decided to resist the new Brit- ish law. In 1773, on a Decem- ber night, fifty citizens dressed as Indians stealthily boarded the tea ships in Boston Harbor and dumped three hundred and forty-two crates of tea into the gloomy water. The result of this rebellion was that Boston Harbor was closed to all trade until the tea was paid for by the colonists.
