From sudden lightening smiles, to sparkling silver tears. But if we're lucky along the way we'll turn tow ard our brother, And realize that what we need is strength from one another, We need the warmth that touching gives, a helping hand to hold-- That brings to us a lasting fire to stand against the cold, I believe in one God and I see him next to me Everytime I look at people and what they strive to be. l'm thinking of someone special, someone who tries to reach us While she's doing her best to discipline and still manages to teach us. She smiles with us and cries for us and listens to what we say, Understands, yet still remains firm in a necessary way.
