How could we fashion silver beads when our ore was still dull and dirty? It was soon polished, however, by the courses of study we so hungrily pursued. The English class was just filled to the brim with literature-adventuin ous, humorous, inspiring, all types of poems, stories, and essays. Book- keeping and figures confused us somewhat, Latin ll puzzled us also, but with a willing spirit and sincere interest, we succeeded in grasping and understanding all. VVorld History carried us from ancient to medieval, to modern times and made us appreciate fully the civilization and culture of the modern age. Typing and Shorthand loomed threateningly on our horizon, but we managed to conquer them successfully. We waded through more Geometry propositions than we'd like to remember, but it was fun.
