A . t v 4 Nd, npx 'vftvnt FRESI-IMEN --XVe entered Immaculata Academy in September, unsure of the future but determined to do our best in prospecting for the silver ore of knowledge. Buried under mountains of strangeness, that precious ore was hidden from our view. It did not remain concealed very long, however, for we soon discovered it in all our undertakings. General Science experiments and discussions in Social Studies helped us to get acquainted with each other. Latin I was just a jumble of conjugations and -declensions at first. Algebra kept us on our toes looking for solutions to problems. English wasn't anything new, but it did take a different twist when we read Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice and Scott,s Ivanhoe'. We helped build each other up spiritually in Religion class. We got a good look at the business world through Introduction to Business. Silvery notes rang through Immaculata's halls as we sang the beautiful Grego- rian Chant as well as secular music in our Music class. Concealed in every subject was beauty for which our minds dug deep. j CLASS OFFICERS: Carol Jean Guzzo, presidentj , Judy Procakiewicz, vice-presidentg Michelle Jasinski, secretaryg Eleanor Todtorof, treasurer. 6 f 20
