Q The Senior Class sponsors are: Mr. Peterman, Mr. Wheeler and Miss Force. To the Class of 1960 Just thought we'd drop you a line telling about our experiences while at old Imlay City High and hope you will benefit by our example. lt all began when we entered the halls of ICHS as freshmen with Lee Lucas as Pre- sident to guide us through our first year. We also elected Pat Schnieder as Vice Pre- sident, Dian Best, Secretary, and Muriel Clarkson as Treasurer. And along came our Sophmore year. In May of 1954 our class of 107 students elect- ed the following officers: Orill Frantz, Pre sident, Gerald Greenman as Vice President, Kathleen Zuhlke as Secretary, and Reuben Cain as Treasurer. Pat Schneider, a member of the Class of 1957, was elected Homecoming Queen of Football. Pat was to be crowned durin half-time at the homecoming game. which we gave in honor of the Seniors. It turned out to be the best prom in many a year at ICHS. We entered our Junior year with full force and full force it was. We started out by electing officers for the year with Julie Knight as President. Jerry Watz was our Vice-President, Jerry Greenman as Trea surer, and Kathy Zuhlke as Secretary. The main event of the year was the J-Hop Another highlight of this year was our junior play which we were very proud of. Our production of Just Ducky proved to be very successful.

I Up to this time most of the success of the Class of 1957 has been due to taking small steps towards our goal. But now as we look back over our first three years of high school We may feel we have been improving stead- ily and are now ready to take that big giant step into the vacant shoes of what was known as the Class of '56, The class officers, elected at the end of our Junior year, took their respective places and set forth to accomplish another year of success. Leading them was President, Aus- tin Stromang Vice-President, John Mulderg Treasurer, Bob Meyers, and Secretary, Barbara Lake. The first event was to elect a Homecom- ing Queen. Pat Koyl was crowned at the dance after the homecoming football game. 19 Our senior play, Stranger in the Night was a big success. lt made the senior class feel pretty good concerning their financial situation. Looking forward to our Senior Trip and trying to earn money for it, the class took the project of selling magazines. A goal was set at which to aim for. We were verj pleased when we hit the goal and even more pleased when we went beyond our goal. ln other words the magazine sales was one of our biggest projects. We left by train from lmlay on May 6 for our Senior Trip, to New York and returned on Friday, May 10. While in New York we stayed at the Hotel New Yorker. In a few weeks we will reach our goal of graduating from ICHS. And hope that you will soon reach your goal and have as muck fun as we did. Sincerely Class of 1957
