Class Prophecy we, the Seniors of 1956, having received our diplomas, are about to venture into the vast region of the unknown. We shall spin the Wheel of Fortune and see what the future holds for us. As the wheel stops, we find James Klrkbride, who is the President of the N.B.C. Television Network, reading the evening paper. I see here that Arlene Muir still has her old job as editor. She ls the editor of the 'Star Gazette', the biggest selling newspaper in the country. Her production assistants are Patrlcla Smith and Miriam wlttrlg. The headline states that Gabriel Kowalski ls running for President of the United States. His running mate for Vice President ls Charles Dockham. Their campaign manager, Betty Steffes, and associates, Dolores Watson, Shirley Edwards, Lary Smith, and Lupe Gutierrez feel confident of a victory. It reads here that Carl Arko and his assistant, Jack Kaake, have just flnlshed building a new jet plane which is supposed to be the fastest one ever built. what! Imlay City has a new Chief of Police, Dale Rowley, his assistant is Wllllam Stroman. They are not letting many offenders of the law get by them. He employs Glen Stern and Ronald Muxlow. Doctor Kay Placeway has just completed a famous brain operation. The nurses that assisted her are Elaine Thatcher and Jane Rogers. Esther Sefcovlc is doing a splendid job of writing editorials for the newfsigifa to the sports pages, I find that Duane Maison and Isaac Ferrler are playing basketball for Michigan State. Margaret Stern has just swum the English Channel, setting a new time record- The hot-roo races have just been completed with Clyde Berllnger and Kenneth Gould in first and second places respectively. Patricia Benner and Janice Kalbfleisch have just won a dancing marathon. Glanclng through the society pages, I noticed that Gail Bogart is displaying her new spring fashions. Her model ls Patrlcla West--a very stunning model. Her associates and fashion buyers are Lorraine Hoeksema, Beverly Vlleg and Marlon Strump. They have just returned from the Paris Style Show. Sandra Maples has created a new hair style, the 'Arabian Crew-Cut.n It is modeled by Carol Eddy and styled at Marllu LePard's Beauty Salon. Eileen Rathka ls giving a recital at Carneige Hall. The Grand-Ole Opery has a new singing sensation, Mary Howard. She is the teen-agers favorite singer. Marilyn Clark ls singing with the Voice of Firestone Choraleers. She ls reported to have the best of notices. Mr. 8 Mrs. James Frantz have returned from their honeymoon ln Bermuda. Mrs. Frantz ls the former Karen Caldwell. Louella Clark ls the proud mother of Uquads.' She and her husband are living ln Imlay City. wayne Samson ls a clergyman of the Methodist Church.
