We shall spin the Wheel of Fortune and see what the future holds for us. As the wheel stops, we find James Klrkbride, who is the President of the N.B.C. Television Network, reading the evening paper. I see here that Arlene Muir still has her old job as editor. She ls the editor of the 'Star Gazette', the biggest selling newspaper in the country. Her production assistants are Patrlcla Smith and Miriam wlttrlg. The headline states that Gabriel Kowalski ls running for President of the United States. His running mate for Vice President ls Charles Dockham. Their campaign manager, Betty Steffes, and associates, Dolores Watson, Shirley Edwards, Lary Smith, and Lupe Gutierrez feel confident of a victory. It reads here that Carl Arko and his assistant, Jack Kaake, have just flnlshed building a new jet plane which is supposed to be the fastest one ever built. what! Imlay City High School has a new agriculture teacher, Ronald VanTlne. His students have just won the plaque for parliamentary procedure. Imlay City has a new Chief of Police, Dale Rowley, his assistant is Wllllam Stroman. They are not letting many offenders of the law get by them. Patricia Benner and Janice Kalbfleisch have just won a dancing marathon. Glanclng through the society pages, I noticed that Gail Bogart is displaying her new spring fashions. Members of the F.F.A. begin farm projects when they are freshmen and continue to work on the projects and earn money from them throughout their high school years. An F.F.A. point system was worked out giving credit to those deserving lt. Under this system awards are given for a certain number of points. The highlighting activity of the F.F.A. this year was the Parent and Son Banquet held during the first part of April. This banquet was planned to honor officers and honorary members of the organization. Other activities for the year were planned by chosen committees. A few of the most important of these activities were: sending delegates to the National and State Conventions, sending members of Parliamentary Procedure to the district F. F. A. Contest, attending a district grain show, and planning for a pancake supper. Everyday third and fifth hours one can hear music drifting through the halls of the vocational building--this indicates that either the band or the choral groups are hard at work under the direction of the O'Del1s. On December 23 the Chorus combined with the Girls Glee Club and Band to lead the student body in the singing of Christmas Carols. The Spring Concert presented April 17 was one of the highlights of the Music Department as well as the school. They sang such tunes as DRY BONES, ROBERTA, COTTON EYED JOE and SUNRISE ON EASTER MORNING. The Imlay City Band took second place in the Contest of Bands held in Flint.
