HOMECOMING 84 October 22nd rolled around and once again it was homecoming at I.H.S. The weeks dress up days were twin day, 50's day, nerd day, pajama day, and the traditional orange and black day. The bonfire was held Thursday night October 25th. It was cold, wet, and the fire wouldn't start, but once it did it warmed half the town of Imbler. The cheerleaders helped everyone show their spirit. Overall it was a big success. Friday was the big day. The football and volley- ball teams were prepared to face the Pine Eagle Spartans. The football team kept their playoff hopes alive by beating the Spartans 26-25. Though the volleyball team tried hard they didn't fair as well as the football team. They lost in two straight games to the tough Spartans, 15-4 and 15-8. The 1984 homecoming court consisted of seniors Teressa McDonald and Ronald Kellar, juniors Mi- chelle Kilgore and Greg Bingaman, sophomores Bentley Morgan and Jim Monroe, and freshman Dee Eddy and Mike Morgan, Michelle Kilgore and Greg Bingaman were chosen as queen and king. The homecoming dance like the bonfire was slow to get started, but once it did not even the chaper- ons were sitting down. The music and lights were done by Professional Audio Enterprises of the Tri Cities. Thank you, students and faculty of I.H.S. for making HOMECOMING 84 an unforgettable week. 1. Our loyal students at the bonfire. 2. Homecoming court; Teressa McDonald. Michelle Kilgore. Bentley Morgan. Dee Eddy, and mascot Kim Millering. 5. Queen Michelle Kilgore and escort Greg Bingaman. 28
