Imbfcr Golden Reveries Lulu Doud, Judy Calhoun, Rita Pfefferkorn, Marge McLaughlin, Suzy Michell ADVISER.................Mrs. Douglas Compliments of RIVER PRODUCTS and ELGIN CASH DRY GOODS STORE filtration Since its very beginning, Imbler High School has published a school annual. It has been the custom to dedicate the annual to someone near and dear to the hearts of Imbler students. It is with great pleasure and admiration that we, the annual staff of 1960, dedicate this edition of the Golden Reveries to you, Ray and Alice Baker. We shall always remember the good times you have shared with us at our vari- ous school activities. There has never been a home more open to young people and their problems than is the Baker home. Whether in need of a little laughter, a sympathetic ear, or just good sound advice, you always seem to have the answer. And so we salute you, Ray and Alice, for being two of the happiest and most popular teen-agers in our valley. Compliments of FRED'S HAND-OUT and BURLEIGH HYDE - RICHFIELD DISTRIBUTOR uoup ■i s!u!UJP SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE What is an education? In a sense it is a companion who will never leave you. It will give you a fine introduction to strangers and yet keep you from becoming lonely when in solitude. A complete education is a guide to right conduct and good morals and a means of tuning in to the harmony of the world and the people in it. Without an education one is apt to be in constant discord. Experience and observation take their place with teachers and books in the composite program known as getting an education. If I could accomplish only one thing in life, I would choose the ability to bring to young men and women the realization that getting an education is a distinct privilege and learning a joy.
