the landed gentry HENRy fries Chairman A very important crop in the Imbler School area is grass seed. This is evidenced both physically and in the activities and trade in the area. Of more lasting importance, however, is another crop of seeds — the children of Imbler. The Board of Education contributes many hours to provide facilities and determine policies so that these seeds may grow and mature. MR. DONALD McKINNIS MR. JESSE BERRY

DEDICATION TO MISS MYRTIE WHITMER teacher, scholar and friend, we dedicate the 1954 Golden Reveries. She has helped many of us set our feet unhampered on a path that should lead us to become trustworthy and con-tributive citizens. Due to a fall, she was forced to quit teaching in the spring of '52. She shall always be remembered and hold a warm spot in the hearts of the Imbler students.

THEY CULTIVATE JOHN H. CAIN, Superintendent Pacific University, B.S. University of Oregon, M. Ed. University of Oregon, Advanced Study Typing I, II Bookkeeping I Office Practice Student Council Advisor Annual Advisor Since the start of construction of the new wing, Imbler students have labored under the handicaps of construction and renovation. This year has been marked with the development of the program planned for this enlarged school. Some physical changes have been made, such as the remodeling of rooms, additional furniture, a new bus, and new bleachers. An activities program was launched to relieve class interference and still provide a rounded program of activities. These things have contributed to a better learning situation for Imbler students. Credit and proise goes to the board of education and the staff at Imbler School, as well as a student body that has the energy and determination to make their efforts outstanding. Believe in nothing overmuch As honor, virtue, fame; Then disappointments will be small And you shall be the same.
