. ..ARE MATURING MRS. ROBERTA EXLEY Advisor and Friend In another year the grass will reach maturity. Highlights of the year were the Junior play, Christmas Party at Sharon Kinnel's, and the Junior Senior Prom. The play, Aunt Abby Answers an Ad , was very successful and the proceeds were used for the year's activities. The prom in April was centered around the theme, Moonlight and Roses . The year was an interesting and eventful one for the whole class.

FOOTBALL DEAN WESTENSKOW Fullback LENNIE WAGONER End KIM JORDAN Quarterback The 1953 football season was a new experience for many of the boys as this was the first year they had played six-man ball. The Panthers lost to the state runnerup, Halfway, by one touchdown. Mr. Edson is very enthusiastic about next year's team which will be an experienced club with a lot of capable athletes.
