Pres. 4 Annual Staff 4 Prophecy for ’40 Seniors One balmy spring evening tbo “boisterous1 and fun-loving graduating class of Imble-r igh School, in the year 1340, set out for a jolly tine. It vas known to those nineteen Seniors that a Carnival was in town . Among them was a Crystal Gazer, very noted in his profession. This gay adventure soon found the excited group surrounding the rather surprised Fortune Teller who proceeded to paint on the Canvas of Tine the future to these over-awed Seniors. Alvin Spencer---Ah---there are great things in store for him. He has become a leader in politics in the western part of the united States. (This is a result of his practice in Pailimentary Law). However he always finds time for his favorite sport, basketball. Lo, the scene is changing, a quaint little cottage on the edge of a forest is seen. But what do we find---Maxcine C:rlson is enacting a role in Mother Carrie’s Chickens , with Leola F.ollins co-starred. Paiia Craig and Dorothy Pointer uro doing good business running a hot-dog stand in Siberia. One would nevcu believe it, but John Berry lias become a very studious professor (specktacles and all) teaching the principles of the alphabet to any one interested. Dorothy Vandernulen and Evelyn Sanderson, according to television reports, am. :hoosoAeepers a job from which they can't retire, for a couple of SummerviHites . Ronald Westenskow, unable tc satuie down, is still making the ladies’ heart keep Lime to his illvver. Myrtha Westenskow has become an actx'ess in Rio De Janeiro, taking time off to edit tne Rio De News. She never gets lonesome, for her eld friend and private secretary, Lucile Keenan always Veept tilings going at a merry pace, My, my, what is this—Leo l.agoner is chief manager of the I Getum, You Readum News, Main offices located on the 14th floor of the McGoldrick City Rail, he see he has also acquired the valuable services of Donal Anderson, at this time noted for his clever cartoon drawings.” Alvin Bushman seems to be making a name in the field of aviation. lie nov; owns a line of airships traveling around the globe. «hat is our astonishment to find Florence Ocheltree acting as cheif stewardess. Maxyno Bingaman lends her able support to the Style Department in Paris. Her fame is spreading so rapidly, it is rumored that she will head the Department at an minute notice. 3ut what great trio is sv; eeping the country like wild fire? It is none other than Minnie Stewart, touching the hearts of the people with her lovely Soprano voice. Phyllis Rynearson accompanies her on the piano while Itol Roberts, with her cello, is greatly applauded. The scene fades out while the dumbfounded students still gaze In bewilderment. Another scene comes into view and the impressive figure of Mr. 3urgess Is shown, doing his duty to his country, superintending the pounding of knowledge into the hope of the country , by acting as Superintendent of the United States School System. when they finally come out of the trance end realize it is getting late, the elated and well pleased Seniors returned to their homes to dream about the future. 5eaJ or Class .i.‘11 LAST .
