President Secretary Bunny Connelly John Bell Karin Godfrey SENIOR CLASS HISTORY After the Frosh party on September lO l954 the Class of l958 settled down as new members of llwaco Hugh They held theur freshman class electuon and Tom Murakamu was voted presudent Nancey Kary vuce presudent and Bunny Connelly secretary Muss Rucks and Mr McFadden were class advusors for that year The Freshmen started thungs off wrong by losung the student body tucket race un the Fall and had to guve the sophomores a party They ended the year rught by havung a class pucnuc at Fort Columbua Durung the Sophomore year Tom Murakamu was class presudent Jean Murakamu vuce presudent and Nancey Kary secretary The class advusors were Mrs Beard and Mr Lord Once agaun the class lost the tucket race and thus year gave the Junuors a party ln the Sprung the sophomore gurls served at the Junuor Senuor Banquet and ended the year wuth a class pucnuc agaun held at Fort Columbua As upper classmen the Junuors elected Tom Murakamu presudent John Bell vuce presudent and Jean Murakamu secretary The Junuor Class Advusors were Muss Mack and Mr Fusk On December l5 the Junuor Prom was held wuth the theme Walkung un the Raun On Aprul 5 the Junuor Play Aunt Tullue Goes to Town was guven under the durec tuon ot Mr McDonald Next came the Junuor Senuor Banquet on Aprul 25 wuth a Southern plantatuon theme The last event for the Junuor year was the annual class pucnuc at Fart Columbua The Senuor Class at l958 elected John Bell as presudent Bunny Connelly as vuce presudent and Karun Godfrey as secretary The advusors for the Senuor year were Mrs Beard and Mr Fusk For the furst tume un theur four years the Senuors won the tucket race and were guven a party by the losung sophomores On December 7 the Senuor Play Come Out of the Clos t was presented Durung the Sprung months the class was honored at the Junuor Senuor Banquet ana planned the Senuor Ball held on May lO wuth an Oruental theme Baccalaure atte was held the Some of the boys of the class got off to a good start for their future years at IHC by playing on the football team and on the JV basketball team. Many enjoyed singing with the Glee Club Boys Glee Club, and Girls Glee Club.l'The girls vigorously earned points as Peppers for their fish. The girls also participated in GAA and especially enjoyed the bowling lessons. Many of the boys and Qirls bowled regularly in the High School Bowling League. All in all the class of l96l have made worthwhile contributions to the year l957-58. Class advisors, Mrs. Aase and Mr. McDonald.
