ATICJ AL H0 OR SGCIETY NSTALLS ME BERS Lori Goodman with guest speaker, Angela Beck. Roger Blankenship installs his little sister, Brenda Roth. Looks like John is having a good timel Mr. Guard's favorite segment of the installation trefreshment timejl To be eligible for N.H.S. one must be at least a sophomore, maintain a 8.5 grade average, and must have character, scholarship, leadership, and service abilities. From information given to them by the candidate, a faculty review board consisting of ten members chooses those who will be selected for the coming year. This year the board selected nine new members: two sophomores, six juniors, and one senior, adding to the fifteen returning members. On Monday, November 16, 1981, National Honor Society held its traditional installation, installing these twenty-four members. Miss Angela Beck, SEMO State University Womens Basketball Coach, was the guest speaker. She spoke mainly on the importance of efficiency and leadership. Mr. Rick Waltrip sponsors this club to which he devotes a great deal of time and hard work, in order to perform a job well done!
