They sponsored a nail guessing contest, in which the winner received a 810.00 prize. They raffled off a hairdryer and a 40-piece socket set, and sold candy bars and Ftawleigh products. They also collected and sold aluminum cans. All the money received from their sales went toward new equipment for the shop area. Several years ago the Industrial Arts Club was stopped because no one seemed interested. From the way it looks this year, the Industrial Arts Club is back on the road again! 23

This year's FBLA enjoyed pizza parties, collecting for charities, and adopting grandparents from the community to provide them with help and special services. Money collected from our Thanksgiving Turkey Feather Guess Contest was donated to the Safe House in Cape Girardeau. Officers took area businessmen out to dinner as a community service project.
