This year's Science Club set out to be more active and useful than those in the past. We feel we've succeeded. A nature hike at Trail of Tears followed by a cookout provided fun, entertainment, and education for all. We had a spooky time at our Halloween party at Lake Twappity. While the rest of the students ate a school lunch, we feasted on turkey, pumpkin pie and homemade bread on Thanksgiving. Our Christmas included: a supper at Mr. Sadler's house, caroling, and distributing homemade decoupages to patients in area hospitals. Dr. Popham from SEMO University visited us and gave a lecture entitled, A Chemist - A What? We took a tour of the Physics Dept. at SEMO and were shown an interesting and informative time by Dr. Soellner. . We commemorated Earth Day by presenting two films, Air Pollution and Land Pollution. We ended the year with a dinner.
