O' , wi.-1 I . . -fi , . K I As the year approaches its end, we seniors find ourselves caught in a bitter struggle between two worlds, often not knowing in which we wish to live. We must choose between the world of yesteryear or the world of the future. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The world of yesterday offers us securities, fond memories, and the love and acceptance of dear friends. The world of tomorrow beckons us to untold adventures, challenges, and promises of a successful life. If we choose to stay and live in the past, our growth will be stunted. On the other hand, our wings often feel far too weak to attempt to leave. The choice is not ours, however. We must finish the race we began many years ago. The future will hold many times for all of us. But now we must face the time to grow, the time to let go, and the time to say goodbye . A special thank you goes to the following people for their contributions to the yearbook: Mr. Markhart for the use of his darkroom equipment, Mrs. McCowan, Miss Obermiller, Mrs. Heckert and Mrs. Hahn who all allowed me out of their classes frequently to work on the yearbook, Leita Lillibridge and her telephone service , and to Mom Nothdurft, for giving us not only an education, but also a part of herself.
