THEME TO THE 1980 PROM 1. Elisah Pinkston and her escort Thomas Boswell 2. Candy and her escort Randy Holder enjoy the Queen's dance. 3. Candy Dunaway - 1980 Prom Queen. In years past the junior Class has always been appropriated a sum of money in order to host the Prom. This year, however, funds were short and they were not given any money. Instead of giving up, they got excited, got involved and raised enough money, through various projects, to give the Senior Class a tremendous Prom. The University Ballroom was decorated with center- pieces of mums and daisies, blue and red metallic streamers, and photographs. The band Friends provided the music to dance by. The theme for this year's Prom was Photographs and Memories. Photo- graphs were provided by the juniors, memories were supplied by the seniors.
