WITH NEW COACH This past season was my most successful year as a coach and the winnin- gest record for any ISC Girls Basketball team. In fact, they had the best record of any sport so far this year, 8-5. The girls lost 3 games by a nar- row margin which could have been won but otherwise played well most of the year. They progressed in offense and defense throughout the year as a team and this despite the movement of some personnel to part-time and full time Varsity play. These girls are very good in the fundamentals and I predict an excellent season for the team next year on the Varsity. They are a hard-working and talented group of ladies and deserve the success they have achieved. Coach Waltrip l Defense! We lost big to only 3 teams and 2 of those ., schools went on to play at state.
