Yes, it is the marching band of I-F led by Drum Major Anita Sue Seal. Although small in number, the band is one of the most popular and well known groups in the school, with its snappy drills and well-played music. The band portici ates not only in school activities at games and pep rallies, butalso marches in parades, attends the district band marching clinic, Southeast Missouri Band Festival, and performs in the annual music department concert. The band has been under the able direction of Edward Carson this year and much credit is to be given Mr . Carson for the progress the band has made under his direction . 67

Although R few in number, they made up this difference by hard work and by the end of the first semester they made their first public appearance. The boys' not only participated in school assemblies but they also attended the SEMO District Choral Festival, and appeared on the Spring coricert program, singing three numbers.
