II A kiss, my darling, Mother says, And kisses me just so. And Daddy says, Captain, salutel' And marching out I go. III I am the Captain of the stairs, I pass among my men, And when I finally reach the head, I turn and speak to them. IV Stand still, my steps, until I come I'll be around at two. And Nursie smiles and says, Come! I have some work to do.
